ABOUT THE ARTIST/FACILITATOR

LINDY TERESI, Santa Fe artist and painter connects with the inner voice to create visionary intuitive paintings. Each gouache painting is a journey into uncharted territory.

Each brushstroke comes from deep within and dances with rich color that flows organically into surprising images and archetypes. Subjects may appear that my mind alone would not have chosen and may even protest.

This freedom to risk by going into the unknown results in an authenticity, aliveness and energy never achieved in art school or by pre-planning a product.

I was born and raised in Northern Virginia and earned an art/psycology degree at James Madison University. Creatively expressing for over 30 years, I co-directed an interior design firm then worked in corporate creative services in North Carolina. Moving to Santa Fe in 2002, I discovered this painting process which resulted in life transforming experiences.

Intuitive painting has opened huge creative flow for me and is now my passion to share the process with others through sessions, workshops and retreats in Santa Fe and beyond. I have been told I am a gentle sensitive facilitator and am known for my outrageous colorful expressive paintings that touch the inner being.

I provide a safe respectful space for creativity to emerge and the tools for each painter to move through creative blocks. I am present with the full range of experience from the shadow to the joyous.
